Work Visa

Temporary workers (H and L Visas) can work in the U.S. after a petition is submitted by the employer-to-be in the United States and is approved by the USCIS. The U.S. work visa is also further subdivided into different categories:

• H-1C visa is suitable for following categories of nurses:
  
• Foreign nurses with a full and unrestricted license to practice nursing
  
• Hospitals and medical facilities listed in the H-1C Nursing Relief for Disadvantaged Areas Act of 1999 to hire registered foreign nurses

• H-2A visa is suitable for following categories of people:
  
• Foreign agricultural workers with job offers from U.S. companies
  
• U.S. companies hiring foreign workers to perform agricultural labor or services of a temporary or seasonal nature

• H-2B visa is suitable for following categories of people:
  
• Foreign athletes, trainers or artists with a job offer from a U.S. employer

• L-1 visa is suitable for following categories of people:

• Spouse and children of L-1 visa holders who wish to visit the principal visa holder in the U.S.
