Provincial Nominee Program
Canada has 13 provinces; out of those 13 provinces some of the provinces are given rights to select their own permanent residents in cooperation with the Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The province gives them a certificate for nomination and then the candidate applies for the permanent residency together with the background checks and medical checks.
